Artists in Tandem: Eric Meadus with L.S. Lowry and Larry Wakefield with Roger Hilton

This exhibition places two sets of artists alongside one another to reveal connections of idea and approach, and allow a greater insight into their creative processes than when each is seen in isolation.

Showcasing the work of Eric Meadus and Larry Wakefield, artists who both worked for some time in Southampton and enjoyed growing national reputations towards the end of their lives, coupled with two well-known artists, L.S Lowry and Roger Hilton who are represented in the Gallery’s permanent collection.
